第一,表明涨价是正常的需求。和客户阐述涨价是一个客观事实,你也不想涨价,这是需要买卖双方共同解决的问题,在商言商,涨价这种行为也并不存在过错。

第二,摆出要涨价的证据。即使客户都知道你为什么要涨价,还是需要把涨价的证据一一列出,包括汇率、海运费、产品原料分别涨了多少,都需要有一个概述,最好能够用直观的图表来说明,有理有据,让你的涨价更有说服力,也让客户更容易接受。

第三,对症下药。针对不同的客户,阐述涨价的原因要有所区分,重视价格的就把增加的成本一笔一笔算清楚;重视质量的就要和他说明,涨价才能维持原有的品质。

第四,向客户重申你的价值。涨价的同时可以向客户重申你能够给他带来的价值,不仅仅在价格方面,告诉客户你可以为他做的更好的方面,可以考虑从以下几个维度去谈:

  • 产品质量的稳定性
  • 对市场的了解,公司的专业程度,比如新产品、爆款产品的迭代
  • 服务响应速度和周到程度
  • 出现问题时的解决能力
  • 对于交期的掌控能力,甚至可以优先生产该客户的订单
  • 合作的时间长短、对彼此的了解

第五,时间节奏上的把握。涨价生效的时间最好能够留长一些,给客户一个思考缓冲的时间。涨价的节奏要一步到位,不要今天通知客户占3%,没几天又通知客户占2%,这种做法很容易激怒客户,造成客户的抵触的情绪,容易失去客户。如果担心成本继续攀升,可以试着在报价当中列出报价的有效时限,或者约定一些条款,比如汇率再升多少个点,报价即失效等。

第六,也可以借着这个阶段巧妙的促单。上面说到留涨价要预留生效时间,除了给客户缓冲消化的空间之外,也可以试着在涨价前利用涨价的deadline促成一些订单。
